This race was started to remember some of our wonderful club members we have lost. We welcome you to challenge your self in the memory of someone you have lost.
The race takes place in Beautiful Piney Run Park, Located 30 Martz Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784.
The 50K can be run as a single runner or a team of up to 6 runners. The course is 5-mile loop (to be run 6 times) of woods, meadows, and 50 feet of paved road. The view of the lake is on 50% of the course. The last loop of the 50K (#6) must be started no later than 2:30 PM. You are welcome to run as many loops as you wish. The runner with the most loops in the fastest time will be awarded first second and third place ( Male and Female)
There will 2 places to pass a water stop on the course and at the transition of each loop variety of food and drinks will be available. Your family is welcome to enjoy the parks trails, playgrounds, and nature center. Your Registration includes park entrance fee. (There is a fee per car for non-participants. The fee is for support of the park. $6 per vehicle for Carroll County residents and $12 for out of County resident)
This a rain or shine event. All fees are nonrefundable.

Race starts at 7:30 AM. Runner must be able to start the 6th lap by 2:30 PM.

Two Water locations on the course and a variety of food every 5 mile
Price: $65 Through March 1, 2023 ($70after March 1,2023)
